Mr. Sharp was raised in Mclean, Virginia. He obtained his Bachelors Degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 1992. During college, Mr. Sharp served as an intern for the U.S. Congress Subcommittee on Energy and Power.

 

Between college and law school, Mr. Sharp was a buyer in the medical supply field. From 1996 -1999, Mr. Sharp attended the University of Miami School of Law where he graduated cum laude, in the top fifth of his class. While at law school, Mr. Sharp was a member of the University of Miami Business Law Review and was a founding board member of PLEDGE, a non profit company designed to aid under privileged urban residents and migrant workers.

 

After graduation from law school, Mr. Sharp was an associate at Wicker, Smith, et al., in Ft. Lauderdale and Miami, where he practiced insurance defense, with a focus in medical malpractice and legal malpractice, and aviation insurance defense including aviation products liability. In the course of Mr. Sharp’s employment, he defended ValuJet in the litigation arising from the Flight 592 ValuJet Air Disaster and he took part in the defense of manufacturers, maintenance corporations and small air lines for their roles in a number of small plane and helicopter crashes that occurred in the U.S., Caribbean Islands and South America.

 

In 2000, Mr. Sharp became an associate at the law firm of Ford & Sinclair, P.A. In 2004, after generating more income than any other partner in the firm, Mr. Sharp became a name partner of Ford, Dean, Sharp & Mallard, P.A. While with that firm, Mr. Sharp litigated over 100 nursing home and A.L.F. abuse and neglect cases across the states of Florida and Georgia. Mr. Sharp's other primary areas of practice are medical malpractice, products liability, negligent security, EEOC, FCHR employment torts, catastrophic motor vehicle, aviation accidents and wrongful death of any kind.

 

Mr. Sharp is currently admitted to practice in the State of Florida and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Mr. Sharp currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Dade County Trial Lawyers. He is a member of ATLA and the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers. He previously served on the Academy of Florida
Trial Lawyers Young Lawyers Board of Directors.

Mr. Diamond was raised in Spencerville, Maryland. In 1993, he obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Syracuse University. While at Syracuse, Mr. Diamond was an active member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity and worked as an intern for New York State Assemblyman Joseph Nicoletti. After graduation, he served as a Political Campaign Coordinator for the Assemblyman's 1993 campaign to become Mayor of Syracuse, New York.

In 1994, Mr. Diamond began studying law at the University of Miami School of Law. While attending law school, he served as a law clerk for Miami-Dade County Court Judge Bernard R. Jaffe, as well as for several civil litigation law firms in Florida, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. Mr. Diamond also served as a member of the Phi Delta Phi honors legal fraternity and as a Staff Editor for the Yearbook of International Law. During his final year of law school, he worked as a Certified Legal Intern for the Miami-Dade County Public Defender's office.

After his graduation and admission to the Florida and Washington, D.C., Bars in 1997, Mr. Diamond remained in Miami, Florida, where he practiced liability and insurance defense litigation at the law firm of Hightower & Rudd, P.A. When that law firm was dissolved in 2002, Mr. Diamond assisted Michael P. Rudd in forming the Law Offices of Michael P. Rudd & Associates, P.A., and continued to practice liability and insurance defense, personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice and products liability as an associate with that firm until October of 2005.

Mr. Diamond is currently admitted to practice in the State of Florida, Washington, D.C., and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
